Station 1 - The
decapping assembly
Dillon decapping assemblies
are made with replaceable decap pins. One extra pin is included with each sizing die. To
replace a bent or broken pin, simply:
1. Unscrew the decapping assembly from the top of the die Figure 83.
2. Unscrew the decapping pin (see arrow A Figure
84), and replace it with a new one.
3. Screw the decapping assembly back into the sizing die.
Note: The decapping assembly can be removed from the sizing die without affecting the adjustment of the sizing die or sizing operation.
Note:
The decapping assembly must be removed
when loading primed cases.
